Hi, I’m Darren — the guy behind AZ Glove Guy.
I started working on gloves as a kid, then started doing it professionally in 2015 when I owned batting cages in Queen Creek, AZ (AZ GRIP-N-RIP). When our lease on the batting cages ended in 2020, I had customers reaching out for glove work. What began as a way to help players keep their gear game-ready has grown into a busy glove repair service run out of my home in Queen Creek. I take appointments only, because I still have a day job.
I specialize in relacing, repairing, cleaning, and restoring baseball and softball gloves - from youth models to pro-level gloves. But more than anything, I love working on gloves that have sentimental value. Whether it’s a well-worn glove handed down from a parent or a mitt that’s been part of someone’s journey for years, bringing those pieces back to life is what drives me.
The best part of my work? The look I get from customers when they see their glove restored and ready for the field again. That moment of joy is why I do what I do.
I serve players of all ages and levels — from T-ball to Little League, Club ball to High School and College, and even some Pros. I especially enjoy helping parents learn more about the gloves their kids use. A well-fit, properly cared-for glove can truly make a difference on the field.
I proudly serve the Phoenix Metro area and beyond, many of my customers now ship gloves to me from all over the country.
If you’ve got a glove that needs love, or one with a story to tell, I would be honored to help.
